FAQS

What are your weekend services like?

We offer two worship services at Heritage that all include the same Bible-based message:

Traditional Service @ 9:00 - features traditional hymns accompanied by piano, the use of historic creeds and responsive readings.

Contemporary service @ 10:30 - features a full praise team, high energy praise and worship.

What will happen when I visit the first time?

If you are a guest, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out a church for a period of time.

Will there be someone to help me find my way around?

Absolutely! There will be friendly faces to greet you at each entrance of the church, and once you enter the church make your way to our welcome stations and our wonderful host will be more than willing to answer any questions you may have concerning the location of areas within our church.

What do I wear to attend your services?

The dress for the Traditional Service is business casual.  Dresses, slacks, and collared shirts are very appropriate.  The dress for our Contemporary Service is very relaxed and laid back.  Blue jeans and shirts are found to be the norm.  We are much more concerned with your heart than what you wear.

What about my children?

At Heritage, your children are top priority.  Our facility is clean, safe, and staffed with loving volunteers.  We offer excellent nursery and pre-school classes for every service time.  We also offer a children’s church for our elementary age students.

Where do I park?

We have two large parking lots on the east and west side of our church building.  Both areas have visitor and handicap parking spots.  If you have small children and will be utilizing our nursery services, we encourage you to park on the east side of the campus for easier access to the children’s wing.  The entrance on the east side of the building is a level entrance and is wheelchair accessible.

Can I get a cup of coffee?

Yes!  In the fellowship hall, coffee and light pastries are available.

Is there an altar call?

Each service ends with a response time at the altar which can be used for private prayer or you can request prayer with one of our trained prayer ministers.  All services are equipped with full altar ministry teams.

What if I would like more information?

We ask that you complete a connection card with your basic contact information, that comes with your bulletin when you walk in the door.  There are boxes you can check on the card, letting us know if you desire more information or to be contacted by someone on the church staff.  Then drop the card in an offering plate or box, place it on the altar, or give it to one of our ushers.  Completion of this card will automatically sign you up for our weekly newsletter which will keep you up-to-date on the happenings at Heritage.
